Victoria`s Secret Heavenly Summer is the new limited summer fragrance of the Heavenly Collection presented and available at Victoria's Secret official website. Its composition was announced as a summer cocktail full of freshness and delicate powdery shades.

Heavenly Summer arrives in frozen-glass elegant flacon with pale pink liquid. Abundance of freshness comes from green bergamot, while feminine and sensual aromas are provided by orris water leaving a sophisticated powdery trail. The fragrance is available as 50 and 100ml. Besides the EDP, one can also find fragrance mist as 200ml.

This one is... interesting. I liked it at first, but the more I used it, the more odd I found it. I don't really know how to describe it. It's kind of bitter and salty on me - not much sweetness, not much fruitiness. It actually kind of reminds me of a more wearable Mugler Womanity.

Heavenly Summer is light and a little bitter, with almost no sweetness to it at all. The bergamot here is quite a dry note—all peel and pith, no juice. The orris is powdery and very rooty, to the point of smelling mineral.

Heavenly Summer smells clean and soapy, but also earthy and kind of strange. Picture the sun beating down on a thirsty bergamot tree, light glinting gold through its leaves. Picture cold water gushing from an old garden hose, the running stream of it spreading over the dry ground. Picture clean, white linen on a nearby line.

With its rooty orris and uncharacteristic lack of sweetness, this fragrances was quite unpopular on the VS website when it was released. It seems to aim to be evocative, more than to smell good per se, and in my opinion it succeeds. Despite the sparsity of notes, it feels evocative, spare, distinctive, even artistic.

If you have Prada Infusion D'Iris, you definitely don't need this one. They're 80% similar. Citrus with a lot of powderiness due to the orris note. I love it, but you really have to dig this type of clean, powdery scents to enjoy this one. :)
Nice longevity for a VS fragrance.
Sillage is moderate.

Not a scent that appeals that much to me, it's a very strong citrus scent and it works on a hot summers day but it almost feels like you poured freshly squeezed lime juice on your skin, fortunately it doesn't last that long, about one hour so I wear when I go shopping for groceries

Sweet, and simple, slightly powdery thanks to the orris. I am getting a delicious Cinnamon Toast Crunch aroma too which is surprising but pleasantly gourmand.

Bitter cold ,powdery ...remind shampagne :) never thought I will like it .

Like coldest river at summer.there is no sighs of berries ,liquor or tizing by seductive fruits -just very fresh but not aquatic -icy smell.

Remind a little bit of chanel "cristalle verte "

I wish to me this smelled like a orange creamsicle. It would be a lovely fragrance, if it smelled like that. Unfortunately, instead it has a mens aftershave smell to it. Also, smells like eucalyptus...like the relaxing pillow sprays & night time body lotions. I work at Victoria's Secret and even though, it's just released, we have already had several bottles being returned. Most were purchased from online & returned because, they didn't like the smell of it & that it wasn't a summer scent. I agree, I don't get a summer sort of vibe from this fragrance either. One customer said it smelled like a aromatherapy product, which I agree with. Plus a lot of aromatherapy products have eucalyptus in them, which I thought this perfume smelled like. I personally own about 20 or more Victoria's Secret perfumes and usually love them, but sorry to say this one I greatly dislike. So far they aren't selling in my store that I work at either, so it will most likely end up being a discontinued scent.

I really like this perfume. I think Heavenly Summer is one of the best perfumes, Victoria Secret has released in the past few years. To me this smells like baked goods do to the Orris Water. I usually don't like Orris Root at all, because it can be too powdery, and I think Victoria Secret did it just right with Heavenly Summer. I do smell the Orris Water more than the Bergamot, but it's still noticeable, and I think the notes mix well together. I know people complain about Victoria Secret only putting a few notes in perfumes, but in a way I like it this way, because it's more simple. I would rather have a perfume with 10 notes tops, verses a perfume with more than 15 notes, because the perfume can end up being confused, and change all the time. I would wear Heavenly Summer in late Sring through Summer during the day time. Overall I give this perfume a 10/10. Also this is one of my favorite perfume of 2015 so far.

Got this the day before it was officially released and it was love at first smell. Summer in a bottle for sure. Smells like a sophisticated creamsickle!
